GemEx Systems Releases New Diamond Engraving Technology

Technology company GemEx Systems introduced their patented ION table engraving Wednesday, describing it as the "next generation" of diamond identification.

The new technology marks the diamond with a clean and clear marking that is not visible to the naked eye. The inscription can be viewed through GemEx's Holograph Diamond Viewer (HDV).

GemEx invited wholesalers and retailers to come up with inscriptions, logos, serial numbers or other personalized messages that can't be duplicated. Clients can send diamonds and a digital image to GemEx for engraving.

Released before the holidays, GemEx recommends customers engrave their diamonds with a personal message, a wedding/engagement date or picture, as a unique holiday gift idea.
