WFDB to Unveil New Pricelist

Today's (Sunday) Presidents' Meeting of The World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) in Antwerp, Belgium will mark the introduction of the WFDB price list for polished diamonds, according to WFDB President Avi Paz.

"While I am committed to keep the specific details under wraps until the actual announcement during the Presidents' Meeting," Paz said, "I can say that this brand-new pricelist will be supported throughout and by the entire supply chain of polished diamonds, from manufacturers to retailers, and in particular by consumers."

The gathering will host the presidents of the 28 bourses affiliated bourses of the WFDB. In addition to unveiling the new pricelist, Paz said presentations and discussions will center on advancing consumer confidence in diamonds and diamond jewelry.

"As the guardians of the international diamond trade, it is our task to develop tools that will increase consumer confidence in our luxury product, the polished diamond," Paz said.

The WFDB Presidents' Meeting will conclude on Wednesday, November 18.
